With more time spent working from home, this family needed a dedicated office space that felt quiet, bright, and separate from the distractions of the main living area.
The Goal
The goal was to create an addition that blended seamlessly with the existing home while adding a functional, comfortable workspace designed for daily use. Natural light, sound control, and built-in storage were top priorities.
The Work
We built a small addition off the side of the home, carefully matching the exterior materials and roofline so it felt like an original part of the house. Inside, we installed large windows for natural light, added built-in shelving, and included extra insulation to reduce noise.
The Result
The finished office provides a peaceful, productive environment that looks and feels like it has always been part of the home. It’s now one of the most-used and appreciated rooms in the house.
